You are right on the money. I picked up a new Haro FS bike a few years ago for 900 bucks and loved it. A time went on I put a better shock and fork on it.I still have the shock(on my Enduro) and the fork(on Girlscout Voodoo). The bottom line is you can pick up a decent FS rig,have a ball on it, and not spend a bundle.
