Oh...I'd say I like it as at least as much as my last Fox. Maybe more. My Vanilla was a 2005 130 R. This one is a Float 140 RL. It's smooth...not quite as smooth as the 55 or the Domain. The lockout is nice for the stand-n-grunt climbs. The air spring is more progressive than the Vanilla was. At my weight...that's kinda refreshing.

I'm happier with the over all "ride" now than I was with the 55 or Domain. the Domain was king when the trail started pointing downhill. When I cranked the U-Turn down to 4" it was a little harsh and had a "knocking" feel over repeated washboard type terrain. Obviously an F100 would have been an excellent XC fork for me when the trail turns upward, but splitting the difference of the two and going with a Float 140 seems to be good so far. I don't notice any difficiency on the downhill sections, but I notice a huge difference in efficiency on level ground and climbing. I can keep up the speed and catch more air. I can tweak it out over little junk on the edges of the trail b/c I have more energy now to do so.
