I can't offer any advise on the type of urban riding you do, but i do ride the same downtown section as you and a 2.0 Maxxis minitaur with 28 PSI had me hitting the rim while climbing stairs on a tubeless setup yesterday. However I did take this same setup off the judicial center drop to tranny on the carbon hardtail. It was butta. Don't know if that helps at all.
