Speed Kills

I think Neptune Beach is going to eventually have a issue with why e-bikes are being singled out for reckless operation. Surely some offended e-bike user is going to be wealthy enough to push that through the courts and challenge their ticket to get out of the $62.50 fine even though they spent several ten thousands on attorneys to vindicate them and stand on their principle! <grin>

It comes down to operator skill on any bike. In some traffic situations, slow (even inching) is the best way to go. Other times, high speed gets you out of a danger zone faster. A safe operator is able to inch as well as haul a$$ and knows when to do each.

I got back yesterday, from visiting relatives for a week, who are just outside of Charleston(SC). The road conditions were much lighter than what I am used to. No being hassled by the traffic.
