Headset compatibility question (for redundancy)
So I'm getting a new headset, I have a 2014 Salsa Colossal 2. I just wanted to double check with the fine folks here that this headset: Chris King InSet 3 Tapered Headset with Griplock | Competitive Cyclist will work with my frame. The headtube specs are as follows: 1 1/8" ZS44 upper and EC44/40 lower with a tapered fork. This is probably an unnecessary post but all the headset standards are overwhelming and I'm generally unfamiliar with the new press-fit stuff.
Thanks for your help!

What you've linked to is correct.
When you say redundancy, is this for a spare, of what? The bike comes with a Cane Creek 40, which is as good as any headset on the market, getting the CK won't bring any upgrade to the bike except the additional cost.

Redundancy to make sure I don't buy the wrong one. I've been having problems with my headset and I was getting close to the point where I just threw money at it until it solved itself. I think I fixed it last night though so no need for the CK.
