what kind of brake is this?

Hello!

I'm trying to get new pads for this brake, and wondering what kind of this brake is?

and are there any specific sizes for this brake type or could I just go to rei or lbs and get pads for this type of brake?



help newbiieeee!!

Looks like a standard linear pull or more commonly know as a Vee Brake or V brake. Walmart or any place that sells bike parts will have what you need. Bring an old pad with you to match it. Roger

Or get a better compound, pad .. made to not wear down your Rim so fast (as cheap ones) .. at a Bike Shop

Thanks! i'm trying to sell that bike but before that I noticed that brake pads need to be replaced.

will buy salmon for that

thanks rhenning! I took out old pads today, will bring to lbs and see if they have kool stop or other good pads.
