Hi

Picked up these wheels today. I noticed they are missing the inner cylinder...not sure what it is called.

What do I need to make the wheels rideable?

Those look like thru-axle wheels. The thru-axle comes with the frame, not with the wheels. So they are complete.

If you don't have a thru-axle frame, these wheels are not of use to you.

since no one asked what Bike Frame you intend to install the wheels onto, and you seem baffled by the now fairly common Thru Axle design hubs...
you'll need a set of Quick Release adapters that are made for the Thru-Axle Hubs you purchased.
and no, the adapters are not universal fit, and most only properly fit up to one specific design of hub.

contact your local bike shop to order the correct ones.
or hope you find the correct ones online.

You can convert them to quick release, but the standard quick release width for disc brake rear wheels is 135, not 130mm. And the rim is not designed for rim brakes. It might be fine with rim brakes, but consider what you want out of these wheels. It might be better to sell them and buy something more appropriate for your bike.

These from a local shop? Maybe they'd take them back if they've never been mounted? What did you pay for them?

I've paid what they appear to retail for (Kontact's link to MAVIC) a pair of built-up wheels this last year.

They have little utility for the amount and style of bicycling I do now so for me, the cost to ship from MA to WI would be a speed bump.

Were I you my next click would take me to the Marketplace sub-forum here. Post 'em for sale there, see what comes of it.

Bought these off FBM. I had a friend pick these up because he was closer to the seller. They also came with Campagnolo covers. My initial thought was to take the Campy freehub and use it on my Mavic Ksyrium rims I already had and either use, or sell these rims. Looking at it , I do not think I can use this Freehub. Seller said it was Campy, but not sure.

What do you think they are worth ?

That looks like a Campy compatible freehub body. Not the latest version, but from the 10-12(?) speed era.

Campy has changed the body styles a few times over the years as cassette speeds varied.

Mavic has made changes on how the freehub body attaches to the hub shell. Depending on the age of your wheel, you'll need to research and see if the desired Campy spline pattern is available to fit your hub shell.
