Another Dumb Headset Question
Because a certain retailer in the UK current has an incredible deal on RockShox forks and is including a free headset, I thought I might throw some cash into my much abused Trek.
It's a 2005 Trek 3700 , and the headset is completely shot after ~2,000 miles commuting and being used as a city bike without much maintenance. My question is whether a headset like this could replace the semi-integrated headset that's currently in there.

and I'm the one asking you for advice!
Honestly, my knowledge of bike maintenance doesn't extend far past the drivetrain, brakes, and shifters. Bottom Brackets, Forks, and Headsets are the things I don't touch unless absolutely necessary, and then it's usually just to take it to the shop.
