Will this gearing/shifting combination work?
I'm looking for a cheap way to convert my cyclocross bike into a road bike with some low gearing for climbing.
Would the following combination work?
50/38 chainrings
11-34 cassette
Shimano XT M761 Rear Derailleur (45 tooth capacity)
Shimano Ultegra 6500 Front Derailleur
Shimano Ultegra 6500 Shifters
