Bottom bracket

Hi can I swap bottom bracket from a shogun s# s555377 to a motobecane s#ms1019009?

Maybe. You need to measure length and the tapers on the end of the spindle. Buy a caliper and start measuring. My guess would be no as I think the crank taper would be wrong. Roger

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Maybe #2. Yes, if the bottom bracket shells are the same width and have the same threading. Are you going to use the same crank on the Motobecane as on the Shogun?

Yes going to swap every thing over to the Motobecane .The shogun frame is to large for me thanks.

the motobecane might be french thread if it was built before 1981 or so. If it is, then the Shogun BB will not fit.
