I have a dura ace 7410 headset on my Litespeed .There is a Chris King 1 inch threaded headset on CL for a good price. Will it be compatable? It says its "2 nut"Also its new and I heard great things about Chris King.My present headset is pitted but very rideable.

Bikes: team miyata, '73 p-14, MB-3, centurion lemans, Mystery TT, mongoose atb '85

depends on the stack heights of the 2 headsets, the length of the steerer on the fork and the crown race dimensions. stack height is probably the most crucial here since I bet the crown races are both ISO.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

You shouldn't have a problem. The Dura Ace headset is listed with a stack heights of 37.6mm, vs the Chris King #2 nut with a height of 37.4mm.

If the seller is honest you're in great shape.

Chris King headsets have a great reputation as do Dura Ace. All I'm saying is that the two are both high quality, and plug compatible. So it'll fit, but any decision about what it's worth or whether or where to buy is strictly your call, and I neither advise for or against.
