What is this thing?

I got an old Fuji with one of these things on it. I took it off. What is it?

That looks to be a Rhode Gear flick-stand. Put it down against the tire and you can lean your bike up against things without it falling over.

If you don't want it, sell it, they have a lot of fans.

YokeyDokey: It's a FlickStand. PM me if you'd like to sell it.

Note my wife's bike 30 years ago with both a Flickstand and a kickstand.

well son of a gun, thanks all! You know what, I think I'll keep it. I thought that might be what it was, but it wouldn't flip down against the tire... now I remember, the front wheel I had on the bike at the time was an old 27" that was so tall the tire rubbed the crown of the fork, so there's why the Flickstand woudln't work. I'm learning so much, and I have the right sized wheel on the bike now too.
