Need DIY Quick Release for handlebar bag
I had purchased a M-Wave brand bar bag which came with a quick release mechanism that broke off when I rode over a bump in the rode.
I wonder if there is any inexpensive and DIY method of attaching a bar bag to the bike with quick release attribute. I see pics of old bags with sturdy aluminum clamps but nowadays the makes of these bags are in love of plastics, including the pricey ones.

I have been happy with Klick Fix bar bag mounts.. they use several types of bag attachments
a steel or aluminum rod bent with 4 90 degree bends , a plate that screws to the bag.
or even allowing Ortlieb's bags to clip on.
On my last couple long tours I used a handlebar bottle cage mount, and plastic spacers and an old bag I had .
It didnt quick release , The 'valuables' were in a money belt under my clothing
and small change in a fanny pack..
