Identifying/Purchasing a Replacement Spoke
A spoke on my Shimano wheel broke and I'm having trouble figuring out the spoke type. The wheel looks like this: https://www.palmbeachbiketours.com/wp...ront_wheel.jpg.
Thanks for the help!

Those look like regular spokes with the elbow at the rim instead of the hub. If that is the case, should be easy to figure out the length needed.

Another of their mistakes. You can tell because they don't make em anymore.

Those spokes will likely be specific to those wheels. Figure out the model number of your wheel and then go to the parts diagram here: https://techdocs.shimano.com/techdocs...&bmUID=jLg2o7o
You can then search for that part number on google (which, if you're lucky, might return a few shopping results from places like Amazon or Universal Cycles). You could also try any bikeshop and they may have luck getting the spoke from a distributor or shimano directly but their small parts availability is never terrific.
Alternatively, your bike shop could measure one of the existing spokes and order as close a match as you can find.
This place also has a comprehensive listing: https://www.moruyabicycles.com.au/con...s-shimano.html
