The three most common reasons that old pumps stop working are- The piston ring (often a leather cup) has dried out. Lubing with bearing grease helps. The check valve at the pump's base is rusted up. It looks like there's a access plug just below the hose. The hose is cracked or leaks at a connection. Andy.
