My "good" bike
Sorry for taking so long. My mom had to do some online classes. Anyway, this is an 80's Schwinn. Specs:
Walmart handlebars, haha, I've got a set of GT Cro-Mo's but they're WAY TOO WIDE!
DK aluminum gooseneck (I say gooseneck because it has the quill)
Schwinn frame and forks
Alloy hubs laced to welded singles with brass and 3/8 fr and bk
plastic wellgo's
mongoose seat (and it is slammed, I'm not cutting the foot long seatpost)
alloy brakes, possibly dia-compe, not sure
those are one-piece cranks, but this is the bike that's getting the 720's
I may end up chunking the frame and forks because the headtube and forks are worn out. Now the races spin and wobble due to rust corrosion. I might trade the parts to my dyno air.Yeah, it's not a spectacular ride, but I've spent less than $10 in it besides the hubs and incoming cranks.
My best bikes are stock. A Raleigh M20 I got for $10 and a Giant Modem G bought new at my LBS.
And the date stamp is wrong.

Wow, you guys need some help! Of course I know it has a boxer! I was being sarcastic! <falls over laughing> And I know bmx pretty well too. I'm not pretending to know, that's for forum rats. You know, kids who fake their age and post stuff from Wikipedia. I'm still laughing about the boxer engine thing...hilarious! And as far as the turbo/charger, I'm a tuner fan and most tuners can't hold such a boost without a serious overhaul. Money is a big issue.

Haha, there's two. You can't see it because of the dropout. It has a chain guard mount (again, 80's model). I just got longer axles so I might put on different pegs (these are thin at the base. I have no balance (doctor says inner ear problem), so front pegs are that useful to me.

go ahead and drift it without the cage. you may not like the way the mustang feels once you start getting it sideways and it would be a waste if you end up deciding you want to try out another platform after putting some money in it. if anything, put stiffer suspension. but start out stock at your 1st few events untl you start getting comfortable with it. if you start off with a bunch of mods it'll make it harder to learn. but yeah, go out there and have fun man. and be prepared to get addicted

no i dont really know what happened over the winter. i used to just like spin around in circles in my garage, and then it got too cold for that. so it was only like a few months without riding and i lost everything, except grinds, and now i dont even ride pegs anymore. anyone got anything for 180's? anything at all?

Okay, really stupid question. However it's bugging me.
What's the best method to lock your feet onto the pedals?
For the most part I have it down, but I would just like to hear how others are doing it.
