Art thread?

Anyone have any cool art or photoshop esque stuff they want to post and share?

I have a few ill post up later, but i assure you its nothing thats any good.

EDIT: Here is some of my stuff. Like i said, its not any good, just the result of rain or me being bored.

My old frame, which i re-painted.

Just a cool photo in my opinion...

My old setup , with the amature(sp?) invert colors.

One of the logos for the website im working on with some freinds...

Self portrait, i kinda like it even though you cant see my face, haha.

Some quote i got from some emo band!

Like i said, nothing great, just me screwing around with photos. I just got real photoshop and once i get better at using it maybe i can make some cooler stuff.

Madman - looks like I shouldn't have judged you by your BMX shots. Nice work!

Kinetik - There's a whole bunch of handy tools under Image|Adjust. Try tweaking the brightness and contrast. What version of Photoshop do you have?

Thanks. Yeah, I've more or less officially given up any form of BMX and skate photos...
Landscapes and wild(ish)life are where it's at, I want to try portraits but I don't know any hot chicks who I could practice on so all the results would be pretty boring.

Damn, that's a big spider. I would not be psyched to wake up with one of those on top of me.

The cat.. um, +1EV?

That's a small spider for Australia. As far as the cat goes, I rescued it Saturday, and even though it's white, it's not the cleanest white right now. Early morning, cool reflected light.

Playing with double exposures and the fisheye. Expired film so it was pretty grainy and the colors weren't too hot, so its B&W now

I don't even know. I used to have a mini fridge stocked with film, and I never worried about the date. The graininess would have possibly been from underexposure. The color shift is from age. Either way, free film to play with, can't argue that.

By the way, I'm glad you bought that camera, at least it went to someone that uses it properly. Have you made any $$ from your photography yet?

Yeah, I guess it could be, I processed it in PS and the file wasn't great to start with, my scanner is pretty crappy (but it was free too.)

I've sold 1 picture so far, won 50 bucks at the state fair because I got a first place on one photo, and a best of show/judges choice on another (the youth division wasn't really filled with great stuff), and I have at least one more picture sold that I haven't gotten paid for yet. It'd be nice to have some commissioned work, but unlikely to happen anytime soon. I'm getting my degree in IT but I might try to work as a photojournalist for a while depending on how good of a job I can get in IT at first.

Go for the IT, and do photography on the side.

Just bought myself a tat gun and all the goodies. I'll have some art to show in a few weeks.
