I don't want to take it to a bikeshop because:
1. It should be simple enough that I can do it
2. I don't like other people touching my bike
3: My mom won't let me take my bike anywhere to get it fixed
4: It would be there for a few days for a relatively simple thing

Okay, the headset came flying off with a mighty pound of the hammer and that is all done. The problem is putting everything above the headset back together again and I have no idea what to do. Anyone good with that stuff?

Post a picture with all the parts laying on a table and I will number them in which order they go.

Get a 2x4 and put the cup of the headset ont he frame and tap it in, once it's partially in pound it the rest in. Go slow at first so it goes in straight.
The put the bearings and crap back in and make sure to grease 'em up. Put all the spacers back and obviously not your gyro plate.
Put up some pictures if you run into trouble.

EDIT: I guess I'm going to need more spacers, because I don't want to cut my steerer tube and then one day buy an Elementary stem and not be able to fit it.

EDIT:And by stack height i mean how tall it is where the steerer tube goes in, not how high it will make your bars.

The Elementary does have a high stack height though... and somehow, I got everything to work, with exception of my wheel being a little crooked (which should hopefully be easily fixed). My only problem is that I took off my gyro, and have one spacer less than I did before. I can't figure it out because it just doesn't look right if I have a spacer on.
