Oh you are quite the jokester aren't you.

Go back to your roadie section are worry about carbon fiber parts that cost as much as a whole bmx bike and spandex riding clothes that makes you all look lame and even fatter.

Roadies make me laugh. Not in a good way, in a "Haha look at those fools" way.

That's because they wear spandex all over and pay $5000 for a set of wheels.

If you 'Stepped into the BMX forum by mistake', why did you feel the need to offend the members of this forum? Have the members here previously mocked you for being a roadie? You probably lose more IQ points reading threads in the Road Cycling forum which deal with 'Free Botto' or posts with Ryanf as the subject.

If you don't care for a non-cycling topic in a forum that isn't strictly cycling-specific, don't participate. And if you don't care for the forum, don't participate.

Kinetik, if you can, find the link for that. That picture is great.

There is no reason to ban him. You do more wrong than he does.

More epic pics. Odds are the link will get deleted sooooo check it before it's gone.

The Spinner picture is a parody from a thread where he was quoted saying that. So it goes.

I'm a roadie and, if I can say, we're not all like elgalad and Ryanf. I tend to find the road forum on here is more likely to cause a loss of IQ than the bmx, or SS&FG forums. Nowhere else have I found questions like 'how do I get my wheel out of my front fork' and threads like 'I survived my first club ride'. But Ryanf's posts are good for a laugh. Roadies, don't mock bmx riders. They usually have more mechanical skill (at least with singlespeed) and focus on the fun instead of competitiveness. Bmx riders, don't mock roadies (except ****heads who post here saying they spontaneously have lost IQ points, and ryanf), it is a hard sport requiring a hell of a lot of dedicated training and physical effort. Its also fun, in a pain-for-the-sake-of-producing-endorphens kind of way.

Thank you shogun17, and elgalad.

Many people come here and immediately assume that because this is a BMX forum, that the folks here aren't 'real cyclists'. They also assume that because most of the people here on this forum are young, that the BMXers are stupid and ignorant.

They are cyclists, just as much in their own way as roadies. BMX requires a different sort of athleticism, but it's just as difficult in it's own way. And trust me, the people here in this forum are not stupid or ignorant. Many of them have been, and continue to be, just as dedicated to their version of cycling as roadies--but they are much more welcoming of people who wish to start enjoying BMX.
