As long as it takes for him to convince his wife that he actually needs more expensive brakes, obviously.

Prozakk 04-23-06 06:32 AM

Ordering one pair Monday, the next in 2 weeks.

I don't have to convince her (nor would it work anyway).

I am the bread winner & HOH. Just look @ my HT.

Just ride brakeless for a week, its not that bad as long as you dont ride trails or crowded skateparks

Prozakk 04-23-06 10:27 AM

I just got a Haro Backtrail X1 and I haven't ripped or splitted it yet. I think it's a pretty awsome bike for around $200.00

If it makes you feel better, I was at my storage unit, and found a box with "BMX" written on it. It's been in a box since January...

atleast you can wall ride.

Something about hopping at a wall dont seem right to me. Especially where i would be more comfortable om my left side and thats where my pegs are.

Haha, i love that feeling, of new parts on your bike that are 100 times better than the last ones, like when i got my Odyssey fork, and my front end got lighter and stronger!

Prozakk 04-30-06 08:48 AM

I was performing numerous skids on the wet curbs. Shortened the life of my tire, but put the brakes thru a great test.

I_Suck_At_BMX 04-30-06 09:10 AM

Prozakk, do you have any pics of your bike? Just curious to see it.

I could never ride my bike with the seat that high (not telling you to change it, to each there own. If thats how you prefer it, thats how its going to best benefit your riding). Arn't you ever afraid your gunna squish "something". I like to Know my seats down to the frame when I'm jumping to flat.

My seat is at an all time high now, id say its almost 1 inch out...haha

Brian 04-30-06 09:28 AM

For my cruiser, I have the standard short post for racing, and a 400mm post with another seat for when I ride around town. Sometimes us old guys just want to cruise to the taco stand.
