My only rule for breaks: I have to be able to stop in the middle of a rythmn section. |

My only rule for breaks: I have to be able to stop in the middle of a rythmn section. Plus it will look alot better having the 2 cables parallel horizontally. Brake, not break. You don't want your brakes to break on you. |

If you only need them to stop in the middle of a rhythm section, why don't you work on them yourself? It's not 'rocket surgery'...

None of the 'hood kids want me doing anything to their brakes because they say mine work too good. I don't think there's a such thing as brakes too good.

Picture this: V-Brakes Chrome rims Simple green SMOTHERED Sanded hell rough AND Really good brake shoes that were hella tacky. I pulled them and almost flipped over his bars. And i just hate working on my brakes. Everything else i do myself, except breaks. |
Brakes are my favorite thing to work on for bikes.

I have the brakes off my bike ATM, and I like it so far, but I haven't decided if I'm going to take the brakes off my new bike when I get it or not. Gyro setups tend to look pretty messy, but at least you can barspin and still have brakes.. but you can stop fine without brakes and I like riding without them better.

not that long though. my friend can spin his bars round 4 times (well he cant...but if he wanted to its long enough).
being able to do that 4 times = ridiculously (sp?) long |
Speaking of spinning the bars, me and my frineds hit up Minneapolis street(in Props VM 57 I think), and I decided to all the sudden get my 180 barspins down. It made me laugh.

Seems like a personal problem to me. Maybe next time, you shouldn't generalize that as being dangerous for anyone riding trails, but simply as dangerous for you.

I care not to chance it. |
Ever heard of "pruning"? You might want to do that if people are flying right into tree branches.
|
I do regularly.
But new trails pop up all the time...(heavily wooded area) |
|
i like it...real clean
any specs? |
