Lookie.

I still need to take off the clamp half of the brake lever. It doesn't take a predominant role in the photo but it's there.. I'm too lazy to take off the grips and then put them back on just now. Wouldn't hurt to cut an inch or two off the ends of the bars also.

I like how you specify that your LAF is an '06, as if it could possibly be another year.

I remeber you saying in a previous thread that you don't need chain tensoners if you know how to properly tighten your wheel down.

With that aside, your bike makes me smile. Thne I threw up because it was all black.

bmichaelx 04-09-06 10:05 PM

Also Beerman, what is the weight of that hottie?

And if you read into that thread a little further he also said he's getting them eventually from a friend or something.

And his bike was never/isnt all black.

That's true, and that theory worked fine when my driveside was my grindside; now that it's not, my grind side axle is constantly pulling forward, even after I crank down on the bolts with a tire iron. Weird.

And the weight is somewhere in the 24-25lbs range, if I remember correctly.

KinetikBiker 04-10-06 08:21 AM

Beerman-
Instead of a zip tip you have a little cable guide that looks like those Fly Guiru tab things, ive seen them before, but where can i get them?

If im not mistaken, you have the ones that have like 3M tape on the back and they tape onto your frame instead of a zip tip making it cleaner looking and better..?

Thanks

CMcMahon 04-10-06 03:16 PM

It's some sort of roadie glue-on cable guide that my friend at the shop (who's basically God when it comes to putting on brakes) that's attached with super glue.
