They are smoother, and stay smoother longer. And i think that they may be stronger too. |
I'll be updating my pics this weekend (after a good bike washing- since been riding trails), to show my new parts...

Changes since last post: Cut steer tube, bars, seat post and top of seat tube, cut flanges because there's a hole in the grips right next to where one flange was and it was annoying. I might do the same with my next grips too, it's not bad. Oh, and I put an Empire sticker on the fork. Isn't that location just plain sweet? I was shooting with my flash in the tunnel behind me but the batteries died and I saw the light coming through the grate on top of that little place. It's all part of a drainage system, but since it's been really dry there's no water in it. |
I've disliked flanges for decades...

i cut the flange off where theres no brake and keep the flange where the brake is.
you seem to take the best pictures...you should find some people who ride better and get some good pics |
I like the photo.

Looks nice except for the stem.

I keep my hands on the outer edge of my grips so I don't have to worry about such.
|
Very nice but i would spray the pedals black.
|
I think I'll get sealed mag Jim C's after these die, or before and use these on my other bike maybe. Either way, the mag's are black and they'll match the rest.
premiumbmx: I'd love it if I know more good riders. Maybe when I move to college I'll meet some in whatever city I go to and then I can go shoot more. I know some skaters, but not very well and all I could do at spots would be stand there and watch and shoot, since I don't skate and I'd rather spend time riding BMX than learning how. |
i ride a Free Rider Imperial with oddesey brakes, dragonfly brake cables, and a Hula Hoop back rim

I will add the WORST bike in this thread. This is the bike you can leave outside someplace and it will never get stolen. It will probialy get a flat black paint, to make it look worse. http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...30-2006-23.jpg Hate on. P.S. I got the bike for free, in that shape.

it's in my sig :)
