Really Stupid Biffs

What is the dumbest biff you've ever done. I have just done mine. I was riding through a totally flat parking lot after dropping a disposable camera off at a film place. I was riding through the lot and there were some wet spots. I was going to "manual" over them. Like ride a wheelie but not pedal. Anywho, I made the first one no problem, of course. It wasn't to hard. And then there was another one. I don't know what the hell went wrong, but damn, it sure did. I pulled up and the bike twisted funny and I started turning. My body went flying and twisting and my bike just stopped. I landed on my left side kinda on my back. I slid for about 10 feet or so. I got a huge scrap on my left arm, my left shoulder, my lower left back, and my left hip. I couldn't even figure out how I did what I did, but I did it and it sucks. Please post yer worst but stupid, maybe even embarassing biffs. This is by far my worst one. Thanx.

Ok. As I was thinking about the crash, I think I figured out what happened. Or at least maybe something close. I think when I pulled up, I pulled harder on one side. The wheel turned to the right and when I came down the bike stopped. So, that's what I came up with. But I guess I'll never know. Kinda like finding out how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop.

Yes!!! I've done it again! I just got back from biffing twice more. The first one I was jumping this big dirt/grass mound. One side has about a 10" semi-vertical thing. I hit that with some speed and it makes a kewl launch ramp. The other side is pretty smooth with a nice slope for landing. It is really soft ground too, as I found out. I jumped it once with some sweet air. My dad was with on his new Mt. Bike. I asked him "How high did I get?" "Pretty damn high." he replied. Then I turned around and tried again. He said I hit the jump crooked and that lead to even worse. I flew off and landed on my back. It was sweet. It didn't even hurt. My wrist was kinda sore. But I got up and tried it again. A little later, we were going through a parking lot. There were two speed bump things. I hit one to do a bunny hop. When I landed, my right foot slipped off the pedals and hit the ground. It got dragged under the back peg and then my pedals came around and smacked my shin. My pedals have some nice sized spikes on them so it gave me some nice slashes on my leg. All is well I guess. I can still pedal, and that's all I need to do. Now I am off to jump some more. I'm sure I wil be on later writing another paragraph about my next biff.

Instead of ride on, "Biff on!"

Yes. I'm now back in decent condition. I went riding again and was doing some jumps. Nothing special, just jumping. It was fun being back on. And the place where I "jump" right now is by a paved walking path. There is a huge mound right next to it. On one side, there is a decent but sorta steep slope. At the bottom is about a 15 foot gap in between this little pile of concrete things with a little pile of dirt on it. It is perfect shape and all, just a little soft. The first time I tried, it was really bumpy going down and I stopped before I made it to the jump so I didn't biff. The second time, I made it to the jump, but didn't go over. I'm gonna smooth everything down before I actually hit it to fly. Once I do, it will be great. It's pretty sweet here. I was in study hall the other day and this kid was talking about getting a skateboard. I was with two kids I knew(sorta) and one I didn't really know. One of the two I knew was talking to this other kid. He said "This kid makes dirt jumps and then kills himself on it." Talking about me, of course. It was pretty kewl. Ya had to be there.

my first one, i was riding my bike pointlesslly, just looking for something to do, going fast as the usual, and a No Parking sign connected to a poll stading about 2 inches from the ground flat just came outta no where, i hit it and went flying pretty far, scraped up my whole body pretty bad, broke my pinky and sprained both my right wrist and ankle, also got stiches in my chin.

On my bike i bent the fork in so the fork was rubbing on the bottom tube, and even the poll was damaged badlly...

anyway, that was an experiance.
