Frame material. I had a 1989 Trek 1200 made out of 6061t6 Aluminum. They still make bikes out of 6061.
That's like saying I have a Chevy 350 how much is it worth.
And you could post a link to the pics and some nice person could give you a pic assist.

Welcome to the forums. Can you tell us more about the bike like the color, what components are on it? I believe several treks used this same frame but the model was 1200, 1300, 1420, etc depending on the components.

It's the exact same bike I had, either an 1988, or 89 Model years Trek 1200. I sold mine for $225 in December of 2015. It needed nothing. Bar Tape was new and the tires had 800 miles on them maybe. It was a nice bike. People were yelling at me calling me a ***, or telling me they loved my bike. Funny. I road it for 2 years.
You need to take a pic of the drive side. Looks clean, but the wheels are mismatched. That could be a red flag that something happened to the bike. Maybe not, just saying. The rear wheel is an original Matrix, the front is not.

My pops never used it. I believe the other tire was flat or something that’s why he changed it. Hopefully he didn’t throw it away or something lol how much would you sell this today? Btw, he probably just used this once. Lol

It's not the tire, it's the wheel. Selling depends on your location. It's sort of odd that he used it once but the wheels are mismatched.
And those handlebars, and stem aren't original either. That's not a bad thing necessarily, but it still means this bike could have, not positively been crashed. Again, not sure.

+10 people don't change the wheel due to a flat tire. If anything, front tire looks a lot older than rear tire. Given rim wear pattern on both front and rear wheels, this is not a bike that was never ridden. Also missing crank bolt dust covers, another sign of use.

Your pop obviously bought it used and it may have come with a mismatched rim. Also the handlebar stem doesn't look original either

Worth about $150-$195 as pictured, depending on location.
