3 Rensho
Again, another one of my recent finds. Just want to know how much this one would go for?
Sorry I don't have a picture of the complete bike since I am still trying to clean it up. Came with Suntour parts and tubular wheels.

The Yellow Jersey team out of Madison WI rode 3Rensho back in the 80's when I was working for Trek. He made his mark building track bikes. Here is some information from the Yellow Jersey bike shop site.

Bikes: 1986 Alan Record Carbonio, 1985 Vitus Plus Carbone 7, 1984 Peugeot PSV, 1972 Line Seeker, 1986(est.) Medici Aerodynamic (Project), 1985(est.) Peugeot PY10FC
I loved 3Renshos since I first saw the one my college classmate owned and raced.....very cleanly excuted framesets they are. Sooo classy in a refreshingly different way from the typical Italian "Peacock" bikes of the time. the subtlety on their finish and design is just pure class...
The components on that bike is pretty good, especially with the Cyclone MkII derailleurs in it.....but I'd hang a full boat, full Suntour Superbe Pro group on that frame If I owned it! Then it will be shoulders above most other bikes for miles around it!
Just with what I see, I won't be surprised with a baseline value of $1000 on it. With a better (top of the line), more cohesive component group, it could soar easily to around $2000 and even higher, if a bidding war is applied to it.

r3xnvp you've got to love Yellow Jersey, I loved that shop when we live in WI. I use to just stop by to get my fix of cool bikes. Now that we live east I haven't been there in many years. The website is as quirky as the shop I remember.

They almost snagged me on a Waterford purchase a few months ago.
Pure treachery!

I built the frame up with Campagnolo 10 speed and the ride is very nice> https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...hed?highlight=
If you are planning to sell the bike and put DA AX parts on it to be period correct it could be pricey and a while before you find all the parts in VGC for the project. The brake calipers I had were in only in fair condition and still sold for $125.

Are you planning to keep the bike and ride it? I picked up a Rensho last June and it had an almost complete DA 7300 AX group. Besides the crank the parts looked well used. They are cool and interesting, especially the brake calipers but the functionality was just not there so I let them go. You might find this thread of interest> https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...sho?highlight=
