Identify a Leader MX, possibly Corsa Extra MAX
Check out this Merckx MX Leader on ebay.
Painted like a Strada OS, tubes like a MAX, but the sticker and paint say it's an MX Leader. Any thoughts on what's going on here?
Serial number is C9613 which is darn close to the "Phil Anderson" MAX - C9591 - seen here.
So is it a MAX with a fresh paint job and MLX tubing sticker?
