FS: Univega Specialissima 81-82 Touring bike 56cm 9spd modern components

I am selling my beloved Univega Specialissima touring bike in 56cm. As I'm sure most of you know, this is the exact same frame as the Miyata 1000. I no longer live in a hilly state and with my first born just here, I don't have time to do any loaded touring. The frame is in great structural shape for a frame this old, but it does have some scratches and dings... totally normal for the age. No dents or anything serious. I had planned to refinish it, but circumstances dictate otherwise. The components are all NOS when built up a year ago. The bike rides and runs like a sewing machine... it's solid, comfortable, fast and stops on a dime. It's also surprisingly light for a steel tourer.

Crankset/Chainset - Shimano Dura Ace 7701 with 7703 Octalink bottom bracket (the sealed bearing one)
Front Mech - Dura-Ace
Rear Mech - Shimano XT Mtb derailleur
Shifters - Dura-Ace indexed bar end shifters
Bars- Cotton Wrapped and shellaced
Brakes - Medium drop Ultegra spec brakes
Leather saddle with cutout
Wheels and Tires - 700c Aluminum rim with shimano hubs and 28mm Panasonic commuting tires.
Stem - Nitto 70 degree drop
Fenders- Velo Orange Smooth fenders come with, but are not attached. I put them in place for 1 of the photos for reference
Cassette- Including HG50 11-25 and 11-34 (the rear mech will accommodate this with no issues)

I am asking $750 shipped from Florida. Paypal is suggested
Feel free to PM for more pics or details
-Paul

Handsome bike and nicely built up. It's my size which is why I'm glad I already have plenty of bikes to work on this year, .

I had the same year in a 62 cm c-c, it is a fantastic riding machine, these are miyata made and have the diamond cut-outs on the lugs. Very nice. Kinda wish I had kept mine.

I think it's too small for you.

I'm reducing this to $640 for a quick sale.
