Badges on "Mystery Frames"?

Badges on "Mystery Frames"?

We've all found them...

A frame that has lost its badges sometime in the past before we acquired it. Some can be identified, some can't.

I suppose one could do a 2-tone (or 3-tone) paint job like many of the Motobecanes had. But, it just seems like some kind of branding is appropriate too.

So, what should one do?

I put a Mayan Baktun Glyph as a headbadge on one bike.
Branded it MEOD, and as model 12-21-12

Riv sells some fun graphics for bikes like this: Resurrectio Decals

I actually really like the headbadge design.

I've considered cutting up a classic beer can as a head badge, e.g.:

A 3" metallic Grateful Dead, "Steal Your Face" badge just went on my latest build.
