Nay, the "other" package is full of this, a bit larger, some assembly required. The BOC might provide some useful bits.

Hmm, that does make me want to do the entire build from BoC parts. Anyone know how to get a set of 650B rims in a large Priority Mail box?

I think I saw that on a Moser once.

No you didn't!!! That would decrease it's reliability, but it's unclear how it would affect the aesthetics. :innocent:

Of course you can rule on this. Displaying everything ruins anything resembling a surprise. Hell, if you know how crappy all this crap is before it shows up, why even play? :twitchy:

Oh,yes, absolutley wrong! Go back delete that second picture, tout de suite!

(Or actually, it'd much funnier if your could just put in a cesored version, with a black stripe covering all the obscene over exposures you've laid bare in your photograph.)

There is bike porn, and then there is the most tawdry kind of bike porn. Egad! And at long last sir, have you no decency?

Even if noglider violated Rule #8, I haven't seen such a good packing job since the Christmas of '08 when I used an entire roll of duct tape on my brother's gift. Though I did have to break out my Benchmade knife, as mere scissors just wouldn't cut it.

hilltowner 12-21-16 10:34 AM

Although, speaking now as a BOC player who has had a chance to look into the box first hand, it wouldn't be a terrible thing if every now and then someone took a picture of the entire box's contents and posted a link to it for those of us who are curious about the history of certain items. It might be amusing to see what's left in the box after a year's circulation. It could be useful, if one continues to play, to see what goes and what stays, though I admit some of it might just disappear due to the clutter factor. I pulled an item, which I really had no intention of using, because I just needed room for the stuff I was putting in there and still felt pretty certain I wasn't depriving any future player of a real gem.

Removal of borked crap is not only ok, it is recommended and appreciated. I like the recent addition of stickers to the mix, along with the classic "made from BOC parts"

Jadesfire 12-21-16 06:49 PM

The Box is leaving the sunny South for the cold Northern climes! I'm working on the pictures- of course the one time I really need the email on the phone to work, it's crapping out on me (pun intended).
My mail carrier was evidently laughing as she dropped it off at my house and when I got home I was greeted with, "Ummm... you got a weird-looking package today?"
This is a fun game, gentlemen! I'll sign up again later on when I have accumulated a much more impressive pile of crap to share.

gugie I'm ready to be added again. My crap stash is growing larger and needs an outlet. My crap STACHE on the other hand is pitifully thin and disappointing as usual. As last time, I will abide.

Alert! Alert! The BoC landed on my doorstep from Louisiana earlier today. Here's a reveal shot:

Here's what I took:

It's now a brand new box that's been refilled, packed up, and ready to be sent off to Sir_Name tomorrow. It's quite overstuffed, so hopefully it survives its journey south to the nutmeg state.

Added, and stache issue noted. The Crapmaster has taken pity, but is not disappointed in your recidivism.

noglider 12-27-16 06:15 PM

nlerner, I added the Viscount pedals and the monster pedals, too. I put the Viscount pedals on ebay, they relisted a second and third time without selling, so they are now your crap.

Standing by.

Glad the SR crank arms found a new home and did not return.

I forget, I never changed the rings on them. They came off a stock(?) Windsor, I think ~79. I'll check to see if the rings stuck around here, though it's quite possible they went into the BoC with the arms.

nlerner: Would you mind removing the pic that has my name and address on it? I'd prefer not to have that out for the world to see. Thanks!

The box is getting close! I better go get my crap ready.

Sir_Name 12-31-16 12:46 AM

Oooooohh...

My pull, some of the washers/spacers will return once I figure out what I can actually use.

The EMPI sticker goes to a buddy whose air cooled VWs we've worked on since before we could (legally) drive.

Why would someone give this away?

That pin would be on my handlebar bag lickety-split!

Good to see that the Rivelo pin found a home. Whenever I visit Velocult or Rivelo I pick up a few patches or pins.

Because I actually had two of them! Now we both have one.

nlerner 12-31-16 07:17 AM

Oh, and make sure to look inside of the water bottle if you haven't already, Bob.

Done and done.

Hey, someone filled it with beer! Thanks!

The BoC should be off on the next leg of its journey this coming Monday.
