Atom Brakes **********?
where is there some good information on these as I now have a project bike that is equipped with them on the rear. I don't modify or upgrade any of mine I return all mine to like new riders all original if possible with original parts on them. It is more challenging that way and helps pass the time looking for parts and such.

Atom hub help
I have a bike with them on the front and rear but they have not needed attention so I've never had them apart.

I have several Atom/Maillard drum brake hubs. There's nothing really difficult about maintaining them; pretty much the same as any other hub. The only problem you may have is replacing the brake shoes when they wear out, as these have not been manufactured for at least a couple decades already.
