Anyone know about vintage steel Scapin bicycles ?

I don't own one but have looked at a couple and considered. Not one of the big popular Italian names but they are fairly well known. I have seen nice ones and some really nice ones that had the chromelvato? finish.

That's all I got.

They're still around making bikes so you could probably email them if you want info on a specific frame.

I've got pretty good knowledge about Scapin. I've owned one since 1974 and it's my all time favourite frame.

I think Scapin stock just went through the roof. :-)

I am glad that i own a Scapin. It took me some time to put all the parts together. The hard part were:sear post Scapin,stem and the headset "scapin" made by Cobra Bologna italy. Also they didn't had a very good bookkeeper so it's hard to find some infos.
