1979 Miyata 310

Picked up a nice clean 1979 Miyata 310 from the original owner. Nice bike. I put new rubber on.

I have an '84 310 in process out in the barn. Deplorable condition, I lowballed a CL seller and to my horror he accepted the offer. Now I have to fix the damn thing......

I look for bikes that are pretty clean so I don't have to do everything. The Miyata hung in the garage more than on the road. I'm just a casual rider so this will do me well like my 1982 Trek 412.

Had a chance to ride the Miyata 310 a bit more. I am very impressed with this bike and for $100 quite pleased. I think I did quite wel for a one owner bike. A Miyata 610 might be in order! Nice tires too.

Hi ten steel Miyata, nice. I have a hi-ten Miyata too, though a few years earlier. These bikes are a treat to ride, plush, though just a tad heavy. The bike will probably be a nice ride in year 2079, with a minor upgrades. (I have the original chain on mine, 44 years old.)
