Help identifying bike - Moser?
I'll likely have a look in person this weekend and can get better pictures, but does anyone have more info on this before I see it? Looks like a decent size; I'm mostly interested in the frame, if it's worth turning into a neo-retro build.

If it is a Moser, it's an old one. The cable clips on the top tube and above-the-bb shift cable routing indicate that much. And the decals are of an older style than the Mosers I've seen (usually mid-80s or later).
The chrome fork crown is classy.
Can you show a focused, zoomed in pic of the head badge?
Same for the rear derailleur; I can't tell if the dropouts are forged (high quality) or stamped (low quality), and whether the derailleur is mounted via a claw or not.
It looks like it has some later components, like aero brake levers. Is the RD a Shimano 600 tricolor? What crank is that?

Exactly. Even the shops owned by racers sometimes made basic bikes to meet that price point. Look at the Falcon-produced Eddy Merckx bikes, for example.

The sticker on the head tube looks like the top tube Prestige award sticker. On the down tube the "Moser" letters are typically oriented along the front of the tube. My guess is not actually a Moser, but a low end frame with badly placed stickers.

I've been looking at a lot of F. Mosers, lately, and I've never seen one that looks like this. Things this bike has that I've never seen on an F. Moser: both chainstays painted (versus chrome), no braze-on top tube cable (housing) guides, no shifter(s) braze-on bosses, strange fork crown, no M pantograph on downtube lug, no braze-on cable guide stop on right chanistay and no water bottle cage braze-on bosses on downtube.
I'm no expert, but I'd say there is little chance of this being an F. Moser. Look at the top of the seat stays. if it is not pantographed Moser, then it is not a Moser.
Like Spagh, said, the decals are ill placed: The owner actually tore a (top tube) Prestige award decal in half and put half on the headtube and half on the forks.
That's not saying it isn't a good bicycle. Maybe it is.
Try to post some close up photos of the underside of the bottom bracket, fork steerer tube, lugs and any other identifying characteristics.

Bikes: Too many to list
I think you can do better than this one -- lugs look kind of cheap, --- decals on the head tube and fork look out of place
If its a Moser at all, its an entry level model for sure ---

That makes sense, I wasn't sure if there was such a distinction (but had suspicions which you confirm).
