Shogun 800 (and photo test)

Picked up this surprisingly nice Shogun 800 yesterday. Tange 2 and that that pretty 80s Shimano 600. Super light and fast. It's a bit small for me so it may end up in the frame doesn't fit, pass it around thread soon. This is after a quick hose off.

Also, trying Flickr.

Love that paint job, tad too small for me too or I'd be watching for it in the "Frame doesn't fit" thread. I gave up trying to do 3rd party sharing on Flickr and went to an Imageshack subscription. So far I'm really liking it, easy peasy.

Interesting in that it is fade paint, which would typically be at the SIS end of the New 600EX era, yet it has friction levers. I'd appreciate the serial number for my database. TIA.

Hi T-Mar

The tops of the digits are not well pressed but it looks like 6505900 with a space and another hard to read digit. I can look in the sunlight later if that doesn't sound correct.

I don't believe I've ever seen a Shogun with a purely numeric serial number.
