Interesting.

These are the ones I ordered, figured I'd pay the extra $6 to deal with Amazon than the seller on eBay: https://www.amazon.com/microSHIFT-Sh...microshift+3x7. Guess worst case, I ship it back and order the bar ends.

One of the sets I received came from them.
One pair are set up as a 2x7 on my Miele. the other is an ALMOST functional triple on my GT Force. The issue is that there are only three 'clicks' on the left hand brifter. Most others I've wrenched on will have a half click between the big/middle and middle/small, total four 'clicks'. The fresh hell is that I love the double paddle design of the brifters. The paddles fall just right under my fingers. Very finicky tweaking of the limit screws and cable tension have resulted in ALMOST acceptable performance on the GT, with a 52/42/28 in front and a 13-25 in back.

I'll let you know how they work when they come in. Got me worried now!

In good news, I got enough cleaned up and put back together to take for a short test ride, feels nice! Can't wait to get the drops on it.

For anyone digging this up in the future, I got distracted with my new Novara gravel/touring bike I picked up dirt cheap at an REI garage sale. Sorry

After an hour or so of dicking with nothing but the shifting the other night, I got all the gears to work with the Microshift shifters and the 6->7 speed conversion. It was a beeyotch. Getting it to shift into all three up front was relatively easy, getting it to do so and leaving the combinations of gears useful in big and small chainring was not. Truth be told now that I have a new offroad "adventure" bike, this is probably headed for the flip block anyhow (especially as the frame is a smidge small for me), but it was a fun conversion either way!

Still comes in at a nice 25.5# with everything but bar tape. Wish it were a 56 instead of a 54!

Looks like a great all-rounder; sort of a slightly more humble version of a Specialized Sequoia. I wonder how the geometry compares.

I followed you here from another thread. That is hot. $20? D@mn, I'd have paid twice that just for the frame and fork.

Did you use the stock front derailleur, or did you replace it with a road bike FD?

Stock. It is a standard bottom pull road style FD, not a MTB style.
