Bikes: 1962 Schwinn Paramount P12, 1971 Schwinn Paramount P13-9

I overhauled the hubs yesterday, the rear was dated 1960 and the front 1961. I've mounted the FD, a 1st gen. Record with the un-
sloted cable stop. Should have more components coming in next week and will post more photos when I get them installed.

This is not unusual for Schwinn in this era. They purchased lots of stock for their components and the workers just grabbed what was in the bin/on the shelf and built away. Sometimes the carry-over from a previous year was still in the bin/on the shelf when a new order arrived and placed there.

Yes! Looking forward to more pictures!

The "No Record" hubs shined up pretty well. I had to replace one cone as it had a small pit and used all new balls; they now spin as smooth as new.

The build is finished (for now).

I think it turned out pretty good and am looking forward to a shake-down ride later today.

It sure is beautiful.

It's funny that you have a Binda strap holding on your spare. Deluxe...

Wow! Very cool happened. If you are not a professional in this matter, then, you can say, you have surpassed yourself. Congratulations on your new bicycle.

Oh my! Gorgeous! If you desire a '60s vintage Regina freewheel, I have several that are serviced and ready to use.
