Vintage Locks
User tcs posted this photo in the Commuting forum of his Citadel lock and it made me look for a thread about locks. (Not a locked thread or threadlock.)

Sure, it could be picked, cut or jacked, but why bother when there are as nice or nicer bikes locked up nearby, secured with cables?

Anything pre-boom? Anything clever or weird from the boom? In my 1980's childhood we had simple chain locks with combination tumblers, or just hardware store chains and padlocks. |
I have a Dudley long shackle that was sold for bikes. Not sure it would hold up in bad weather.

Wouldn't these only work for very old vintage thieves? Just sayin ... 😉

The only usefulness for this one is vintage appeal. Sears Roebuck nostalgia.
