I'm wondering if the ... flipping market might suddenly turn good for sellers, if travel gets restricted.
There are a lot of folks home right now, basically doing nothing. Maybe they want to get an old bike. |

Me too. Do I list now or in mid-May/June when things might be back to normal?

Did you ever find t.p.? Or have you had to widen the search? There was some in Bloomington Sunday . |

There are growing reports of TP looting going on.

It's risky to skim over a thread and then add something at the end, because someone may already have pointed this out. But newspaper makes perfectly good toilet paper if you crumple it up and flatten it out again two or three times before you use it--it gets nice and soft when you do that.
Does it leave ink stains on your body? I never noticed. Also, you probably shouldn't flush it down the toilet. When I lived on the hippie commune, we used to save it in a covered container in the bathroom, and burn it in the woodstove every so often. Can't remember what we did in June, July, and August, when the stove was out. I think we burned it out near the garden. There's also a certain art to folding the paper neatly after use so the person burning it has a non-hideous experience. Okay, I'll stop now. |

I don't understand this TP hoarding. Do the math. A roll of Scott's has 1,000 sheets. So, if you take one dump a day and use one sheet per then a single roll should last each person almost 3 years.

I generally sit remotely at home now, I don’t know what to do, boring
|
Sorry your math is wrong. Two teens in the house will wipe out a bulk package of Costco rolls in a month. I don't know what they do with it.

I was thinking that if we have to, we'll replace TP with a pitcher like much of the world does. We go through TP like it's water, and there aren't any teenagers in the house |

Our local supermarket stock up the TP shelves every evening. By 9am they're all gone.
Right now there's plenty of food and TP in the supply chain. Some things people are stocking up on all at once. If you really need toilet paper, get up early when the major stores open. Ignore the hand sanitizer and just wash your hands frequently, it's more effective anyways. |
I think if flippers attached 4 rolls of toilet paper to a particular bicycle, they'd sell quickly...

Late to the party...still good for a laugh...

And don’t forget, folks, there’s always the Spotted Owl to consider. 😁😉 Anyone remember that song? It might have been a local issue to Seattle, at the time.
