I can/will hold out for the right trade since I'm not in dire need to rid myself of this jersey and I will entertain all trade offers. The majority of my riding is singlespeed MTN, I road ride (geared and fixed), and I dabble in the classic/vintage area. Anyhow, on with the show
Have:
Size Large "Ben and Jerrys" Ice Cream Pearl Izumi jersey. I wore it once in the winter over about 3 layers, washed it, and hung it up. It was a thoughtful gift, but I am a size small

Want:
-Brooks B17 saddle or similiar
-That 50-52ish cm decent steel road frame you have lying around and can't get rid of
-Rear wheel with SA 3-speed hub that is true and useable
-Pista bar/nice black MTN riser bar
-Anything else you have to offer, just shoot me a PM
Thanks, take care,
Kevin

MTB frame
I have:
A Steel Walmart MTB frame, the size is about medium/smallish. I ride a 54 cm road bike and the MTB is one size too small for me.
I won't bull**** you, the bike is crap, but the frame is decent and usable. It comes with the parts (YUK!) if you want them. I prefer to trade it as a frame. It has horizontal dropouts.
I want:
Any 70s Schwinn compatible road parts in good condition (cranks, wheel, derailers, stem, cogs, etc...)
Or just PM me if you have something else. I'm just eager to clear some space.

What type of Schwinn?
There are many different parts lists with the various Schwinn bikes of that era. Not the least is one piece or three piece crank.

I'm waiting for a Schwinn Varsity from a friend, I don't know the exact condition (no pics), but I assume the components will be pretty rusted.

I would suggest posting a thread when you get it with your plans and people will happily point out things to help, and maybe even offer to give you components... I know I have a few things that are taking up room that I would send if you need them.
Thanks for supporting the spirit of this thread... I suspect nobody is going to be too interested in your frame, but many here are interested in helping people keep old bikes on the road. You will get advice and moral support at a minimum as you get your varsity on the road... Maybe even a small part in the mail if someone has something you need (I have sent a couple of parts I didn't need when I saw someone who needed something in their build).

I have pretty much everything to build a seven speed ultegra bike:
-brakset w/new cane creek levers
-frt/rear derailluers
-shifters
-crank (172.5 w/53x39)
-32 spoke wheelset w/12-21 cassette (these are the ones with the thread-on small cog)
-27.2 seatpost (generic alloy)
-Vetta Lite saddle (alloy rails/white perf. leather and in virtually new condition)
-A set of Ritchey mountain bike pedals (black w/silver scratches...lol)
- A 56cm (ctoc) steel lugged frame/fork (made by Giant for Performance Bike Shop eons ago) currently spray painted yellow and black.
-120mm Modolo stem
-44cm (c-c) "anatomic" bars (medium/shallow drop)
Heck, if anyone comes up with a good trade, i'll just buy a BB and a new headset (it needs one) and build it up for a trade. PM or email me with questions, etc...

The innner chain ring on my 1979 Peugeot UE8 bent about 8 years ago. I'd like to replace it. Not sure how many teeth it had, but I'd like something in the same range as the original. To trade I have a Suntour Mountech rear derailler and brake levers (not sure of brand) from a mid 80s (I think) Bianchi.
