Fork Question

I recently had a '79 Schwinn World Sport handed down to me and in my eforts to get it back to working shape, I've discovered that the fork is bent and rubs against the front wheel. At first I thought it was just a bent wheel, but after trying out a different set of wheels, it was clear that the fork was bent inward and the left prong? rubs against the wheel. What can I do to swap this part out??? The bike isn't really in the best of shape so the retention of value is not a concern. I need to get this bike back to ride-able standards (college student with a bike as my main mode of transportation).

Also, what can you tell me about the quality of Samir Saminox wheels?

Thanks in advance!

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

Any fork of the same type (threaded vs threadless - in this case I'd presume threaded), of the same length, , with the same threading pitch, and with a similar rake could, in theory be substituted. Might be easiest to go shopping at yard sales for a used bike from the same era with the same frame size and similar rake.

How do I determine the height of the bike? (this may be a stupid question and I apologize in advance for that)
