Consider this, he says he has 9 bikes, and culling the herd so to speak. While **maybe** someone is selling something of this quality and doesn't know what they have - I've never met anyone with 9 bikes who doesn't know the quality of everything they own. I asked if payment could be made by escrow, no answer one way or the other yet.

Yup, definitely Sears. A JC Higgins was my first bicycle. Lasted years and years, not because it was high end but because I loved it and took great care of it.
