The line about "garage kept" means that THAT bike was kept under a tarp behind the garage, is the way I read it.

The original owner had back pain so he decided to add chopper bars and a super wide cruiser seat to this otherwise original Cannondale SR400. When the bars would not fit the stem, no problem, a little duct-tape and we're home free. It sounds crazy, but the tape actually worked, the stem was tight. Check out the name on the cruiser seat. Hey, at least its a high end cruiser saddle! I'll betcha I can flip it on CL.;)

Too bad thats NOT a joke like the VINTAGE Huffy!!!

I lol'ed when I saw that saddle because I just sold a Raleigh cruiser with the same couch. I have to admit it was comfy, but I'll bet it weighs as much as both rims on your SR400...

I've seen worse on North Shepherd in Houston. One was a mid eighties Nishiki with ape hangers, full chrome fenders, spoke reflectors all the way around, a 26 x 1 3/8" back wheel and a normal front.:eek::rolleyes:,,,,BD

What I don't get is why all these owners of high-end tri and road bikes never put a size with their listing. That's one of the first things you look for, isn't it? Like, if you were selling shoes on Craigslist, you wouldn't just say,

"SHOES - REALLY NICE - $100" without mentioning the size. This gets me every time.

Simple, in their world everything is THEIR size.
