Yeah. You're probably going to say you want it for a Raleigh Team Pro with 753 tubing or something. :p

I am looking for a stem bolt with a hex head and a cone expander nut. Chrome is best but I am not fussy.

Edit: Actually, just the cone nut would be OK. I probably can get the bolt from McMaster Carr, although it would be zinc instead of chrome.

WTB...

_ CHROME PLATED STEEL seatpost... NOT aluminum!
_ Must be 27.2 mm. diameter.
_ Very Good condition or better.
_ SHORT is Good... they're usually around 8" or 9" overall length.

_ Should look basically like this:

Antipodes 11-04-07 02:35 PM

I WOULD LIKE THE FOLLOWING:

* 27.2mm early '90s Campagnolo Chorus seatpost - apparently they came in a longer length, which I need for my Marinoni Special. The original Campy Triomphe post isn't long enough for me...
* Campy Triomphe pedal dustcap...I only need one...
* non-drive side SR (or other similar Campy Record knockoff) 144mm bcd, 170mm long, satin-finish, fluted crank

Looking for a Shimano Exage shifter as pictured or similar. Would prefer indexed for six speed, but friction is okay. Don't mind paying for a clean example. Thanks.

Similar??? I don't think anybody EVER made anything similar to those units!
Took me 3 days to figure out where they went.

If they weren't mounted on my 'cross bike, I'd set you up. Good luck in your search!
The set you have pictured is the only other set I've ever seen.

Stacey 11-05-07 05:49 PM

Those pictured were on a Giant roadie that I flipped this summer. My LBS has a bike in the used line that has these shifters too.

I'm doing a flat bar conversion on a roadie and would like to use this kind of shifter too. :(

i have some extra parts i'd like to put to use...i need the frame and fork.

does anyone have a steel frame with steep geometry/tight clearances they want to part with, maybe late 70's to early 90's.
i could build a road bike or a track bike.

seat tube should be around 57-59cm.
top tube around 56-57cm.
1" threaded fork preferred (of course).
finish/color not too important as long as the FF is structurally sound.
i'd like downtube shifter bosses on a road frame.

I am trying to find either a 27" wheelset with high-flange hubs and alloy rims, or possibly just a complete rear wheel with a high-flange Sunshine hub and Weinmann alloy rim... I am trying to restore my Motobecane Grand Touring, and I have the correct front wheel, but the rear wheel does not match!

Thanks!

One Shimano 600 Brake Lever to replace the bent lefty I've got. Part of the Arabesque gruppo. (28.3)

I'm looking for a lugged steel road frameset, relatively aggressive geometry, ~62cm ctc seat tube, ~59cm top tube. Nice steel, Tange 1 or Columbus or similar. No eyelets for fenders, takes 700c wheels. Prefer clampon f. derailer to brazeon but that's not a requirement. Want to trade/sell me one?

Also, this is a long shot, but I picked up this 25" 1987 Schwinn Premis frame today and would love to have the matching fork. Anybody got one, or perhaps something similar they want to get rid of? PM me if you've got either of these items, thanks.

I need a BB for a first generation Chorus double-ring crankset, with lots of life left.

I need a 120 or 121mmX68 BB spindle for a Campagnolo NR triple.

Looking for campy NR or SR pista pedals.
This is for a rider so appearance isn't a total consideration.
Not looking to break the bank on these.
I know it's a long shot but what the heck. . .

1963 - 1966 Schwinn Super Sport in Violet (22" or 24") or any color frame in need of repaint. 1963 - 1969 Super Sport serial numbers are located on the left rear axle hanger and consist of a single letter code for the month [skip "I" and "O"], the last digit of the year and a 3-digit sequential build number -- e.g. 'K6018' is the 18th frame built in October of 1966).

I've got a girl's bike set to arrive soon and she's going to be lonely ...

I've got a set, Nisi-Evian (made in Italy) 'Super Sport Light Alloy' rims, high flange hubs.

Front is currently QR, rear is set up as solid axle. I've got a matching skewer and axle I'd toss in for the rear. The QR nuts are conical with the skewer point sticking out.

Front cones are a little rough, rear cones less so. Both front and rear rims are well within the ballpark of being true, but both need final truing. For a really nice restore, the front cones would probably be replaced, the rear ones hit up with emery cloth.

PM's sent.
