Grand Bois 04-25-07 07:18 PM

A Sturmey-Archer S5 five speed hub. That's the one that uses two cables. I don't want a Sprinter 5 or S5-2.

Anybody have some Universal hoods?

Looking for: Modolo compatible brake pad HOLDERS for use with the old Kool Stop Nuovo Record replacement pad cartridges. I hear Mafac holders work.

iab 04-27-07 03:14 PM

My latest wish list:

Fiamme red label (football or oval shaped) rims, drilled 32/40
Magistroni or Magistroni compatible (ie, Simplex, Gnutti, FB, etc.) 3-hole 118 BCD chainrings, 50/47 or 49/46
Balilla sidepull brake set
Christophe old logo clips, size large
Handlebar mounted waterbottle cage, dually would be best, single is good

swen0171 04-27-07 04:01 PM

WTB: I'm looking for a set of touring wheels for a freewheel (six speed shimano), 700c preferred but I would still be interested in 27 inch. 36 or 40 hole, in solid shape that still have life left in them.

all I really need at this point is a rear nutted (or front recessed) brake caliper that I can adjust between the range of 53 and 57mm.

Thanks all.

Also need a SSP seatpost, 27.2.

I have a set of NOS superbe (non pro) DT shifters as well as a set of NOS non aero levers I could work in for a trade.

Lastly, looking for a set of Araya semi aero clinchers, either grey anno or silver polish. 32h.

I have some as well if you need 'em. They work, but they leave about a .25" gap beyond the brake pad that you can trim off with a hacksaw or dremel.

Have a Columbia girls bike with the three speed Sturmey Archer foot brake hub, nice bike/hub in great shape, check out the pics, I could use a pair of 700x23c tires, yellow, red, or blue, in that order :) and a bit of cash to make it fair, unless you want just the hub :) let me know.

I'm looking for this bar and will pay decent money for it. Doesn't have to be NOS but can't be all scratched up. Thanks.

seaneee 05-04-07 02:14 PM

^ that's a cool looking bar. I just picked up that SR stem that bar is on.

The bar is way cool but I can't find a single person around here in the U.S. with one. I can buy a NOS one from a guy in England right now but the cost is $50 with shipping. I may have to go that route.

P.S. I have the photos of the TA Arm but didn't e-mail them. Will do that tonight.

TIOS 05-07-07 12:03 PM

I just picked up a pair of Shimano Dura Ace BR-7400 silver brake calipers but one of the barrel adjustrers is missing. Hoping someone has one they are not using.

I might have some generic ones. What do they look like?

cuda2k 05-07-07 12:25 PM

Allen wrench style seatpost clamp binder bolt for Campagnolo Record posts. Would like to replace the 13mm wrench bolt on my S.Record post with an allen key style. Will buy or trade as needed. Thanks. :)

Also need: crank bolt caps. Not picky of what brand, just need to look good and fit a S.Record crank.

Think that's all the small stuff I'm in need of at the moment. Have a few parts and small parts for trade.

TIOS 05-07-07 03:06 PM

Thanks Bigbossman. They look like the ones on the brakes in Ebay auction # 250109215547 . Not the newer twist/spring barrel type but I don't know what all will work. I left them in the car the wife took to work today so if you need a better pic I'll add it later. Hey, I gotta show you my new bike when I retrieve it from Sacramento! I gotta bring it by Alberts place in Oakland sometime soon.

Plain old 80's S/R quill stem,(or two) marked "Custom" on the face, vertical bolt behind the bars. 100 or 110 mm

They don't have to be pretty, just have to work. I know they came on import Schwinns, probably a bunch of other Bikes too.
