I am a fixed-gear rider but am posting some stuff in response to Robertofergy sending me a pair of clipless pedals, apologies for none of it being C&V:

Tektro dual pivot brake calipers, black. Not sure of the model number. I have two rear and one front, though the front one needs some work (I think the spring is knocked out of wack). All three are brand new.

I also have 3 black tektro cross levers, 2 right, one left. Not sure of the clamp diameter, it is smaller than 26.0. Brand new. Also have plenty of brake cable with black housing if you need it.

Pair of pedals with plastic toe clips and straps. They are not terribly nice but they're brand new and will get you moving (https://www.probikekit.com/us/contact...ith-clips.html)
gone

I still have the clips and one Brooks wrench for anyone who wants 'em.

Update: Both pairs of tires have been claimed.

I have 2 pairs of cheapish Kenda 37x590 tires. Aka 650A or 26 x 1 3/8" for your old 3-speed. One pair looks brand new and never mounted, the other is virtually new but looks like they were probably mounted and ridden long enough to wear off the rubber molding nibs.

You pay shipping, would prefer one pair per customer if more than one person responds.

Free to a good home:

One pair of Schwinn S-7, 27" (630mm) knurled steel rims - just the hoops. Same as used on the Schwinn Continental, Varsity, and a number of other forgettable bikes. They'll polish up beautifully. If you want the narrow 27" rim at the back, it's yours too.

You must cover actual shipping via FedEx Ground. Shouldn't be more than $20, if that. If I ship out the rims and you fail to cover the shipping, I'll send forum member Michael Angelo to your door to lecture you about the proper way to replace hub cones until you commit suicide.

PM if you want them. I've listed them on the local fixie forum as well, so the first who PM's me gets them.

-Kurt

Iowegian,

Just sent you an email, would love a pair of those tires too if they're not yet claimed.

Thanks!

2 BOOKS:

"The Female Cyclist" seems to be aimed at performance/racing; covers diet, training etc.

A coffee table book on the history and design behind the Nissan 350Z; prefer to have it go to a bona-fide Z fan CLAIMED BY REALESTVIN

Assuming media mail, I'll send 'em for free soon after they're claimed.
