Claimed.
I have a set of Shimano bar end shifters, fair condition. Rear is 9 speed, front is non-matching but it's friction so no matter. These look like someone raced cross with them and spent most of the time falling down, and didn't clean up afterward. They are fairly banged up and are a testament to the build quality.
The rear clicks fine through the detents but the lever bolt is rusted. Also missing the D-ring that turns the friction/SIS ring, but that can be turned with needle-nosed pliers.
The front is missing a washer and the pod has a small crack. I don't think it will progress without further foul play.
Best use for these is probably to harvest the pods for mounting Silver bar ends or similar. The rear could be used as is for a 1 x 9 (or 1 x X, in friction mode) if you don't care about cosmetics.
Free for shipping; hopefully they are light enough to go First Class. Please PM if interested.

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky
Three for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them
One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

I forgot there were people who liked BioPace rings. I've got a set (48-38-28 110, 74, I think) if anyone is bummed about missing out on these.

We have been discussing
this lately, any chance the drive side will come out?

Several months ago I picked up a U08 frame and fork off of the list of Craig.
It was a dark and stormy night... well, just the dark part.
it was listed for 20 bones, so I went to grab it.
Fast forward to a bit ago. I dug it out of the garage to see what it needed to put together.
I was looking at it when it occurred to be that it had a tapered spindle instead of cottered.
so I started to remove the adjustment cup, but it's in there. Best I can figure is that the wrong cup was forced into the BB shell.

The frame has a 57cm top tube, a 57cm seat tube (measured from center of BB to top of the top tube)
The fork, the headset, simplex shifters and the neck are all fine, but the frame, it's a loss
Take a look, if there's something there that's useful to you, it's yours for the price of shipping.

I picked up some Shimano SH24 cleats with a tri-color shoe purchase - in used but looks like still usable condition.
Not 100% sure which pedals these go with - possibly the Look-licensed early clipless ones? Velobase doesn't say. I guess if you need them you'd know.
Anyway, PM me if you feel like risking about $2 CONUS (guessing?) to pay for the cost of postage and a padded envelope.
Edit: spoken for and out the door

118 BCD chainring for old SR or Ofmega crank
Hi folks,
I recently picked up a decent 52 tooth chainring at our local co-op thinking it was a Stronglight 122 BCD. When I tried to mount it, I found that it is actually one of those odd 118 BCD chainrings that were used on early SR and Ofmega cranks. It's available for the cost of postage. If you'd like a picture, PM me your e-mail address.
Regards,
Van

Not sure if this thread is dead or not (if so, apologies for bringing it back up). That said - if it isn't, I have this NOS (but not perfect) Raleigh Space Rider chainguard in a crazy, factory lime green. Got it in a lot at least 10 years ago and it's sat around ever since. Cover shipping and it is yours. Don't have the heart to scrap it.

I have two copies of this compendium of head badges. I only need one, so I will pass this one along.
I ask only that you pay the postage which will be $3.27 via media mail anywhere in the US. If you are in another country I will be glad to send it to you for whatever it costs me to send it to you.
Brent
