More parts from a Pinarello bike that came in last week: As always first to claim gets it. The SovoS wheel is still here and has not been claimed. Fixed ear on a flip flop hub? Araya 700c clincher rim. (Pics in an above post) Now todays offering: A 105 crank set up for single ring and Shimano bottom bracket. Cost of shipping maybe $15. PM me. smiles, MH

Crank and bottom bracket. I have put in two replacement bolts as the old ones showed some damage to the threads. Bottom bracket is Italian thread.

Everything that came off the Pinarello has now been claimed. I am going to do a look around the shop and find a bunch of deals for BF members. This place looks like a bike shop exploded in it and the War Department will be up in arms again soon. Smiles, MH

Mooch,
It is winter time in the golf world, Pfau golf course at IU has been closed for two weeks, and it is below freezing here today. And yet two customers scheduled in for appointments this afternoon. First was a person headed for the Waste Management tournament for putter work, and second was an adjustment for lie angles on a set of clubs. The golfers are kind of like bike people, They never stray far from thinking about the game and equipment. The bike stash of 57cm and bigger is going up on the sales board. The WD is gonna wonder why a new Ciooc showed up in the shop. Some of these larger bikes have just got to go new homes. Smiles, Dave Stoller

Mooch,
Cleaning the shop a bit. The 55cm Paramount went out tonight and there is a bit of room to breath in the shop. D-3 is quite a bit nicer than D-1, but is still a challenge. Ciooc and Pinarello are both back today and soon to be finished. I can now find some PIF stuff to put up here. Smiles, MH

I would suggest "gifting" one to the war department, that way you will save your back and noggin from any pain you are yet to encounter.

BTW, I that was a great deal on the Paramount, I was glad that it was several sizes too large for me.....I want out of the bike business.

I also mentioned in the "looking for ...." thread, but I also have a shipping box that my new Surly came in if you need to ship a frame? All yours if you can pick it up in Herndon or Ashburn (or in between)

This is spoken for!
I'm going to throw this out there to my fell bf'ers... I recently picked up a black Surly 700c Fork with Cantilever mounts (and rack eyelets) with a threadless steerer tube that is too short for what I was planning to use it on. The steerer is about 6" and I'm offering this for free to a forum member (if you can cover shipping) that might be able to use it. I'll get some pictures later, but it easily handled a pretty beefy road tire that I tried 700x35. It will probably accept something much bigger. I got it for pretty cheap because I was buying a bunch of other parts so I got a really good deal. I really just want it to go to a good home.

I have a CrossCheck and the front fork was happy to accept a Schwalbe Marathon Supreme 700x50 (that tire also squeezed into the back, but it was tight, there was plenty of room in the fork)

I would love to take this off your hands, but a 6" steerer is quite short.
I don't have any head tubes that short.

And yes... the steerer is quite short, which is why I'm not using it ( turns out that I needed a fairly long steerer for the current build ).

Not worth it to ME, but that's why I'm offering it up here (I'll get some pictures) it's a Surly, so definitely not garbage and for the cost of shipping, it might be worth it to someone here. I was trying to use a quill adapter to lengthen it (there are a bunch of diy how-tos floating around) but I'm just not satisfied using the quill adapter I have on hand. I already have another fork for the build that I'm working on, so this is definitely an extra at this point.

On my CrossCheck (which I built up from frameset), I never got up the nerve to cut the fork. For a while I just had spacers above the bars. But then I Fredded out and just moved the bars up top.

I cut about 2" off the fork that came with my Straggler (used a plumbing pipe cutter which takes a while, but works so clean). This fork came to me too short, I really thought it would work, so I added some cash to add it to the haul last weekend, but came home and immediately realized it wouldn't work. :| On the plus side, I got some GREAT new (to me) wheels for my commuter that are already set up with tubeless 32c tires.

These are both odd ducks, but I feel like they're uncommon enough that someone must have a use for them. Just asking the price of shipping.
Cannondale handlebar bag interior support
This is for the version that clamps around the handlebar. Bent, and it's got crud along the bottom that I've mostly been able to clean off.
