There's a "killer bee" dx-3000 that's been for sale for $150 and the ad has been up for a month or more! The only problem is that the bike is 2 hours away.

I sold a few of those old Killer Bees. Glad to see one up and running

The problem in Germany with those bikes was that the y had the same reps as the Panasonic Stuff liek video recorders,
micro waves and so on. One dealer told me that he had to buy 3 of those to get a micro wave for free.
So they never had the structure to enter the market deeply.
Great riding bike and adorable paint scheme.
I love that paint scheme! Very cool DX-5000 you have there!

The red, titanium is absolutely stunning in my opinion. I would proudly find a place for that one in my collection. Congratulations. Great bike.

I really liked the paint and graphics on that frame, and it rode great. Unfortunately it proved to be too big for me (long top tube) so I let it go. Here's what it looked like when it left. (1981 DX-4000)

1983 Panasonic Pt-5000! With original tires and the suede bar tape! There are no serial numbers anywhere on the frame, fork or headbadge. I had to go off of component serial numbers and the obvious paint scheme.

@Parabolous - Lovely bike. I scan CL every day searching for a decent appropriately sized (50 cm) Panasonic. Never find one.

Thanks! I found this out of luck I guess but it was in an antique store, which gave me an extremely bad taste because of the way they treated me.

It's a beautiful bike, I can't wait to clean it up. This is definitely a bike I will not part with. The only thing it's missing are the lever covers, which it came with one but I took it off so it won't disintegrate any more. Those are extremely hard to find!

Does anyone know what color this might be, or how Panasonic would have named it? I was trying to find some cloth tape to match it, or tape and shellac to match it.

1985 Pro-ATB powder coated and rebuilt from the frame up for some off road touring but still just a great all-rounder.

I have a chance at a dx-4000. After viewing photos here, I am definitely going to pursue it. I have a call into the current owner. Waiting to hear back .

Does my Schwinn Paramount PDG Series 7 count? My understanding is, it was made by Panasonic under supervision of the Paramount Design Group.

Thanks! Didn't even think about looking at other models to compare colors. I found myself trying to figure out the subtle characteristics of ten different colors before I thought to ask some Panasonic enthusiasts.

My new-to-me DX3000 Bin-Build-Bike. Modernized with a Shimergo drivetrain.

A fine bike! I took it on the maiden voyage today and am very pleased with it. 23 lbs with pedals but without the saddle bag.

This showed up on Chicago CL. I know there's a CL thread, but thought this might get lost there. I have no affiliation with the seller; just thought it might be of interest to the Panasonic followers.

Panasonic PR-3000

I've been wanting a Tange Prestige frameset for a while now. Surfing craigslist as one does, I happened upon this Panasonic PR-3000. Not only did I score the frameset I'd been wanting I also scored a great Panasonic. It came with Shimano RX-100 and aero bars (see last pic) which I quickly removed and put complete Dura-Ace 7400 on it, enjoy.
