sideshow,
I'm going to try to be polite, I mean no offense at all.
No one really knows what a particular bike is worth on the open market. When someone posts asking, it is nearly impossible to come up with an accurate answer. without physically inspecting the bike.
Without a detailed list of the components, how can you expect any answer? You can easily do a search for Stella Bicycles and get a basic idea. The auction on eBay has not had any bidders in at least two attempts, at least he listed the components (barely) and had some crappy pictures.
You are in Detroit. How's the economy there? Are folks plunking down big bucks for 40 year old bikes of indeterminate quality?
Post pictures, or at least a list of components and *maybe* someone will do your homework for you.

Bikes: Motobecane Mirage fixed gear, Nashbar Alpha Road 5000, Bianchi Grizzly, Coppi Fiorelli, , Schwinn Trike, , GT All Terra, Old Peugeot, Nishiki 3 speed, Bugatti, Cannondale Black Lightning, Dura All, Bianchi Touring, Bridgestone T700 & more
I bought a Motobecane from a guy in town here awhile back. He had a Stella. While it was cool and neat to look at I feel it was kinda crappy. It had the worst file job around the lugs I've ever seen. Also the rear brake bridge was barely attached because of a lack of brazing material. You could clearly see gaps on almost every lug on that thing. Cool looking lugs but a poorly built frame IMO. But.........I've only seen one so what do I know?

ok here are the specs:
sticker on tube says arctic custom built by stella made in france
brakes are weinmann 610
simplex derailers and shifters
wheels are textured on the outside edges, aluminum hubs, and the scewers say BlocG
3 piece pinned crank
10 speed gear set
pivo neck
sportex seat
57cm frame
I also have a german kalkhoff 10 speed bike,23" frame, it has a simplex rear derailer, shimano front, chrome fork, 3 piece pinned crank, it has sr neck, polygon brakes, shimano brake levers with plastic finger grips, and suntour shifters attached to the neck, lyotard pedals with chrome clips.
I am looking for a good vintage european bike, I have no idea what either of these are worth, or what these bikes came with , when they were made etc. I'm open to selling or trading them if the right offer comes my way. I currently ride a giant perigee, but I really want one super vintage bike I can ride long distances on. This is a hobby to me, I'm looking to get the best bike i can, i'm not looking to make money.

Bikes: Still have a few left!
The shifters mounted on the stem, cottered crank & what sounds like steel rims (a magnet will tell), all speak to a low end bike that isn't worth much unless there is sentimental value. Depending on the model, the Lyotard pedals may be worth some $$ though. Do they look like this?

I'm not to encourafed by this bike, I guess it wasn't the gem I was hoping for. I threw it on cl for 10% of what the guy on ebay was asking for his. while on ebay i found this https://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-SERRUS-1...QQcmdZViewItem
which is more what i'm hoping to come across, something old and unique
